PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

LEARNING STRATEGIES (GLS 101) |
This course focuses on learning strategies to help students become better, more independent learners. Students will learn:
- how to develop and apply literacy and numeracy skills
- personal manangements skills
- interpersonal and teamwork skills
- improve their learning and achievements in school, workplace and community
This course helps students build confidence and motiviation to pursue opportunities for success in secondary school and beyond.
INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGES The International language program focuses on developing the language knowledge and communication skills students will need to function effectively in the international community. Students will develop the ability to speak, listen, read, and write with precision and confidence. They will also develop their thinking and analytical skills, learn to understand their own culture and appreciate other cultures
