PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Reaching Up Credits

Grade 8 Learning Strategies (GLS 101)

available to current grade 8 students. This credit program allows students in grade 8 to earn 1 high school credit. The program is scheduled for a minimum of 90 hours (30 weeks) once a week from 6:00 pm-9:15 pm from Sept to June.
PLEASE NOTE: Students currently identified through the IPRC process, who are receiving special programming, are not eligible to enroll, a GLE course will be part of their grade 9 compulsory courses.

Grade 8 International Language Program (IL)

available to current grade 8 students. This credit program allows students in grade 8 to earn 1 high school credit. IL credit programs are scheduled for a minimum of 90 hours (27 weeks) Saturdays only from 8:45 am-12:30 pm Sept to May

Secondary Credits

Grade 11-12 Acceleration Courses available to current grade 9-12 students. Accelerated credit programs are scheduled for a minimum of 110 hours (31 classes) ,twice a week from 6:10 pm-9:45 pm., during the Fall Semester 1 (Sept to Jan) & Winter Semester 2 (Feb to June)
Grade 9-12 International Language Program offered to students in grade 9-12. IL credit programs are scheduled for a minimum of 110 hours, Saturdays from 8:45 am-12:45 pm (Sept - May) or Evenings - 2 nights a week - 6:10 pm to 9:45 pm. Offered at all Night School locations
